What are your delivery terms?


Allow 24 hour processing time. Next day delivery after receipt of order before 13:00pm, Monday-Friday, for mainland UK, excluding UK public bank holidays. 2-3 day delivery for other areas of the UK. Please allow 3-5 days delivery for Northern Island.

What are your returns policy?


1.1  Megatech may, at its sole discretion, accept a return of the Goods, provided that the Goods are returned to Megatech in the same condition that they were dispatched including original packaging and that Megatech is notified of any problem with the Goods and the Customer’s intention to return them within 30 days of the date of the invoice relating to those Goods.

1.2  Any return must be accepted by Megatech in writing prior to the return of the item back to Megatech. Megatech is under no obligation to accept a return that it has not authorised. Our authorisation policy states that we may need evidence of faulty goods.

How long do I have to notify you that I am unhappy with the item?


30 Days from date of purchase/invoice.

You are responsible for the cost of delivery back to our premises in Cannock, West Midlands.

How will the warranty work on the products you stock?


1.  Megatech warrants that the Goods shall, for a period of warranty that shall be specific to each product (the “Warranty Period”):

1.1.1  Conform in all material respects to the Order and the Specification;

1.1.2  Be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship; and

1.1.3  Be of satisfactory quality within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

2.  The Customer warrants that it has provided Megatech in writing with all relevant, full and accurate information as to the Customer’s business and needs.

            2.1  As the Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy, Megatech shall, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the Price of any of the Goods that do not comply with clause 1, provided that the Customer:

2.2  Serves a written notice on Supplier:

            2.2.1  During the Warranty Period in the case of defects discoverable by a physical inspection; or

            2.2.2  In the case of latent defects, within 30 days from the date on which the Customer became aware (or should reasonably have become aware) of the defect;

            2.2.3  Provides Megatech with sufficient information as to the nature and extent of the defects and the uses to which the Goods had been put prior to the defect arising;

            2.2.4  Gives Megatech a reasonable opportunity to examine the defective Goods; and returns the defective Goods to Megatech at the Customer’s expense (and Megacold shall reimburse reasonable delivery costs if the Goods are deemed to be defective)

3.  Megatech shall determine whether Goods are defective within 10 Business Days of receipt of the Goods from the Customer.

4.  The provisions of these Conditions, including the warranties set out in clause 1, shall apply to any of the Goods that are repaired or replaced with effect from the date of delivery of the repaired or replaced Goods.

5.  Megatech shall not be liable for any failure of the Goods to comply with clause 1:

5.1  where such failure arises by reason of wear and tear, wilful damage or negligence;

5.2  to the extent caused by the Customer’s failure to comply with Megatech’s instructions in relation to the Goods, including any instructions on installation, operation, storage or maintenance;

5.3  to the extent caused by Megatech following any specification, instruction or requirement of or given by the Customer in relation to the Goods;

5.4  where the Customer modifies any Goods without Megatech’s prior written consent or, having received such consent, not in accordance with Megatech’s instructions; or

5.5  where the Customer uses any of the Goods after notifying Megacold that they do not comply with clause 1.

How long do I have to receive my goods?

 

1.1  The Goods shall be delivered by Megatech, or its nominated carrier, to the Location on the date(s) specified in the Order.

1.2  The Goods shall be deemed delivered on arrival only of the Goods at the Location by Megatech or its nominated carrier (as the case may be).

1.3  The Customer shall be entitled to reject a delivery of the Goods where an incorrect volume of the Goods has been supplied where such delivery is outside the tolerance of 20%.

1.4  The Goods may be delivered by instalments [if specified in the Order]. Any delay in delivery or defect in an instalment shall not entitle the Customer to cancel any other instalment.

1.5  Delivery of the Goods shall be accompanied by a delivery note stating:

1.5.1  the date of the Order;

1.5.2  the product numbers, type and quantity of the Goods in the consignment; and

1.5.3  any special handling instructions.

1.6  Time of delivery is not of the essence. Megatech shall use its reasonable endeavours to meet delivery dates but such dates are indicative only. Any delivery made three days prior to or three days after the delivery date(s) specified in the Order shall be deemed delivered on time. Should delivery need to be made outside of such period, Megatech will communicate such information to the Customer. . 

Do you offer international shipping?


Yes, please navigate to the checkout with your item to discover our International shipping prices and available shipping locations. If your location isn't listed in the checkout then please email us on info@megatech.uk.com to find out the shipping rate we can offer.

Do I have a warranty of guarentee period for the items we stock?


Yes, there is a one year warranty on S&A products and five months on SPT.

Warranty for S&A chiller is covered for a 12 month period from date of delivery.

Megatech Ltd will provide technical support and replacement parts in the event of failure. Megatech Ltd will not bear any labour costs incurred in the repair process.

Shipping and delivery costs will be chargeable to the customer. If parts are not stocked locally, international shipping charges will apply.

 

Megatech Ltd is not responsible for any shipping damage caused during transit arranged by the purchaser. All shipping claims are the responsibility of the purchaser. Where possible, returns should be sent back in their original carton and packing to avoid subsequent shipping damages. If the transportation is arranged by Megacold Ltd, we will be responsible for the claim for the damage caused by the transportation with the carrier.

The warranty policy does not cover any damages caused by any artificial factors, accident, misapplication, or non-compliance against the product user manual. The warranty is invalid if the product serial number label is removed.

What if my items arrive in a damaged condition?


1.0 If the item is faulty we will arrange collection of thus item. However if the item is unwanted the customer is responsible for the costs of shipment and delivery of returned Goods.1.1 You have 72hours to notify Megatech of the faulty item and then return of the goods can be arranged. Please take an image of the damaged goods as soon as you are aware of the fault as we will require this as proof. A date stamped image will help support  your case.
